Is Our World Getting Crazier by the Minute!?

Are you more and more confused by all the strange goings on in this country and the world? What if everything really is in perfect order, right here and right now? And everything will turn out just as it should, in its own Divinely-guided way?!

Without getting too deep into specificities, I want to bring just a little bit of light on one topic. It’s a topic that has definitely been at the top of many news cycles over the past couple of years. It is the hotly contested debate over gender identity, which includes inclusive sports participation, bathroom usage, transgender rights, and medical care availability.

Now depending on your personal point of view, and I would guess there is great variations of opinions, particularly by age, this is either no big deal, all a bit confusing, or to the unenlightened, an abomination. I’m referring to the broad issue of nonbinary pronouns.

What!? A SINGLE person goes by the pronouns ‘They/Them?’

Yes, for many older individuals it may be a bit more difficult of a transition to use the pronouns ‘they/them’ when referring to a single individual. The younger you are the easier it is to acclimate to these new norms that are increasingly prevalent in society today. It’s no longer uncommon for individuals to sign emails and other social posts using their ‘preferred pronouns.’ Even business cards and office signs may indicate them. It’s also not uncommon to see unisex clothing, or gender-bending adornments…pearls worn by young men, along with makeup, nail polish, brooches, and more.

If you really think about it, the underlying reason for the term nonbinary, and the various pronoun usage likely isn’t anything new. Today, it has simply ‘come into the light.’ Throughout history there have always been individuals who were seemingly ‘different’ from the norm, however one defined ‘the norm.’ We simply live in a more open world and are hearing more about this particular issue than in the past, particularly as individuals use these issues to stoke a divisive tone.

What about those who say this goes against God’s Will?

I think we can safely argue that God simply does not get things wrong. For those citing the abomination, where is their awareness that all religions ask for compassion, empathy, and LOVE OF ALL? There really are no exceptions.

Ever stop to think that the presence of nonbinary individuals in our lives are here to teach us a lesson? Will people ultimately choose LOVE or hate and ignorance? To paraphrase an oft used question ‘What would Jesus choose?’

Without question we are in a period of transition in this world. Things seem to be moving faster and faster than ever before. We are dealing with what often seems to be an insurmountable level of divisive issues. Divisions within the US and elsewhere seem more and more profound. Tolerance levels appear to be equally low. There seems to be no middle ground.

The Power of Love. The Power of youth.

It’s hard to dismiss that young people today as a whole are much more tolerant and capable of accepting others for who they are whether straight, gay, bi, pan, trans, or any plethora of identities. How someone identifies doesn’t seem to be a big deal to younger kids or younger adults.

When faced with a choice of accepting or denying an individual who is seemingly different from you, what will you choose? If you ‘do unto others….’ The only answer is to choose LOVE. To have compassion for all as we hope they have compassion for each of us.

I used the words ‘seemingly different’ here intentionally. For what we perceive here as humans walking on planet Earth, is often vastly different than what we would know if we would recognize the divinity in all individuals at all times.

A Beautiful Spiritual ‘Download’

About a year ago, I had just completed an introductory DEI training session as part of the non-profit foundation I work with; it was hosted by an individual who uses the pronouns they/them. I could see the different acceptance levels from the attendees that grouped young, middle age, and senior.

Several days later, as I was showering one morning, I had a ‘psychic message’ from my Spirit Guides. It stated very succinctly that the younger generation who are coming out as non-binary and gender fluid, are merely emulating who we are in our True Spiritual form!

That makes so much sense to me! Despite the fact that religions tend to refer to our Source as a ‘He,’ God, like all of us made in the image of God, are neither male nor female. In our Soul state we are nonbinary. In fact, all of us have decided to incarnate as either male or female, or any number of races, religions and other preferences. It is our way to learn and experience love and acceptance.

Kids today, along with some adults, are merely way-showers that will ultimately lead us to a better understanding of the Truth of who we really are at our core. Of utmost importance on our current journey is that we intrinsically LOVE one another, and ourselves.

Yes, we tend to forget our Truth, as we incarnate into the denseness of planet earth. Our job now is to be the loving people on earth that we inherently are in Truth, in our Soul Essence.

How we treat others, particularly those who are seemingly different from us is an important life lesson. Will society get it right? Ultimately, I have faith that it will. No one individual is above or below another in importance and the love of Source.

God has a Message for us: I Love ALL OF YOU!

When I was living in Sedona, I awoke one morning hearing the words of John Legend’s hit song, All of Me.

‘…All of meLoves all of youLove your curves and all your edgesAll your perfect imperfectionsGive your all to meI’ll give my all to you…’

In those waking moments, I knew without any doubt that that was God speaking directly to me with ‘their’ message of unconditional love, acceptance and support.

Be open to hearing your own confirmational message of love. And, practice it with compassion to all.
